Let’s learn about jobs and how to import your jobs into NextMinute.

Here’s what we are going to cover:

  • Learn – Whats in a job (structure and nav)
  • Do – Create a job, import all your jobs


  • Click on the Jobs section to see the list of jobs
  • The NextMinute job is central to everything
  • A job may have multiple sub-tasks which break the job up into smaller chunks
  • Quotes, invoices, staff, timesheets etc are all linked to a job or a task
  • You can create a new job by clicking ADD from the jobs application
  • You can import your existing jobs from a spreadsheet or directly from your accounting system!

Setting up

Create your first job

  • Go to the “Jobs” section. Click Jobs -> All Jobs
  • Click on “Add”
  • Give your job a name, and fill out any other details that you have
  • Click “Save”
  • Your job is now accessible by you and your team on both the desktop and mobile version of NextMinute

Link your accounting system

  • How to link
  • Then do something – check something, import something etc

Import your jobs

  • You’ll need to get your list jobs into an excel sheet – you should be able to download from your accounting system if that’s where you keep them
