Getting Started / Timesheets

Righto take a look at the timesheet, then get your team set up to track their time against jobs.

Here’s what we are going to cover:

  • Learn – Timesheets, Labour rates
  • Do – set up some labour rates, invite my team, complete a timesheet

Summary

  • Timesheets make it easy to track your teams time so you know how much a Job is costing
  • Timesheet entries can go straight onto your invoice when you bill the client
  • Your staff use the mobile app to complete their timesheet and record when they are onsite
  • Labour rates make it easy to charge different amounts per hour for each person, job or type of work
  • Labour rates have a Buy Price (what it costs you) and a Sell Price (what the customer pays)

Setting up

Set up some labour rates

  1. Navigate to the “Sales Item” section.
  2. Click on “Labour”
  3. Click “Add”
  4. Fill in the required fields, most importantly, the Buy Price (Cost Price), the Sell Price and the Name.
  5. Click “Save”

Set up your team

  1. Invite users
  2. Assign labour rates to them
  3. Help them set up the app on their phone
