He started off as a plumber, crawling under houses and dealing with dodgy drains, but he’s now part of the NextMinute team, helping tradies like you get organised, save time, and actually enjoy their weekends.

So how’d you end up at NextMinute?
I started off as a plumber. I moved into piling for a bit, which was great until COVID hit. It ended up being the perfect time to try something new, and before I knew it, I was knee-deep in the world of sales at NextMinute. Been here for two epic years, and I’m loving it.
What’s a typical day look like for you?
I spend my days chatting with business owners, helping them find the right software. It’s all about giving them their weekends back – so maybe they can finally take that jet ski out they bought four summers ago.
What’s your favourite thing about working with tradies?
The banter, hands down. Tradies are some of the hardest-working, no-nonsense people you’ll ever meet, and they’re juggling a lot – work, family, trying to have a life outside of work. If I can help them make their day-to-day a bit easier, it’s a good day for me.
When you’re not at work, what’re you up to?
You’ll usually find me out and about with my two dogs and my fiance, or off on a bit of an adventure somewhere new. Love a bit of travel.
What’s your go-to drink after a long day?
Easy – a VB. Nothing hits the spot like a cold Vic after a hard day’s work.
Got any weekend hobbies we should know about?
Nothing too wild, but I am seriously looking into getting my skydiving licence. Ask me again in a few months!
Any wild stories from your time on site?
Alright, here’s one for ya: I was on a job once and saw an electrician actually clean up after himself. Wild. Thought I was dreaming.
If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would you pick?
My granddad, for sure – he was full of stories. Joe Rogan, ‘cause he’s always got something interesting to say, and Michael Jordan. The bloke’s an absolute legend, both on and off the court.
If you could travel anywhere, where would you go?
Amsterdam. Been there once, but I’ll be honest – it’s all a bit of a blur! Would love to go back and actually take it all in this time.
What’s one thing you couldn’t live without?
The sun. Can’t beat the Central Coast on a good day.
